TE Finley confirms new deal with Packers (AP) Tight end Jermichael Finley says he has agreed to a new deal with the Green Bay Packers. Finley posted a message on his Twitter account Wednesday night appearing confirming reports that he has agreed to return to the team. Finley wrote, "I could not be happier to have the privilege of being a Packer for the next 2 yrs. |

Rams settle dispute, will play in London (AP) The St. Louis Rams will play that "home" game in London later this year after settling a lease dispute with the St. Louis Convention and Visitors Bureau. Bills' McGee agrees to restructure deal (AP) Buffalo Bills cornerback Terrence McGee has agreed to restructure the final two years of his contract, providing the team salary relief if he continues to miss playing time. In exchange, McGee agreed to an incentive-laden deal based on him staying healthy and playing. Cornwell new head of Coaches Association (AP) The NFL Coaches Association has hired sports lawyer David Cornwell as its executive director. Eagles DT Jenkins to restructure deal (AP) Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins has agreed to restructure his contract with the Philadelphia Eagles. Jenkins signed a $25 million, five-year deal last offseason and had 5.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, and 61 total tackles in his first season with the team. Vikings reach deal to use TCF Stadium (AP) The Minnesota Vikings say the organization has reached a tentative deal with the University of Minnesota on how much the team will pay to use TCF Stadium while a new Vikings stadium is being built. Vikings spokesman Lester Bagley declined to name a dollar amount, but said the "agreement in principle" would add about 3,000 temporary end zone seats to the 50,000-seat stadium. |
